CONFIL is organic cotton grown in cotton fields of India with cows and plants,
without the use of pesticides.

Raw cotton

We use Shankar for middle count, and DCH, extra-long-staple cotton for fine count.

Process

Point01

Pesticide-free Indian farms improve the soil while respecting plants and animals.

In the farm, cows are carefully raised and compost is made from cotton leaves and stems after harvest, and excrement of cows.
Insecticides made from deworming grasses and plums are sprayed. Some farms plant cone, okra and sugarcane to attract insects, and deworming grasses to make enclosure.
Large numbers of earthworms in the soil create cavities while decomposing the soil, allowing air and rainwater to reach the roots. Wells are also drilled and watered for use, and efforts are made to improve the soil in order to produce soil with good quality.

Cottons are carefully hand-harvested by skilled hands.

Our partner cotton farmers across India take great care that only small-scale farmers can provide. Careful hand-picking ensures that cottons are harvested with minimal contaminants.

Quality controls are carried out to deliver high quality organic cotton.

Removal of foreign substances (contaminants) is carried out manually and through close inspection by supervisors, and then they are removed by optical sensors. Removal by sensors are also placed during the yarn winding process, which ensures the delivery of high-quality material.

Raw cotton is spun into yarn.

Special spinning achieved a clear appearance with minimal fluff. Safe and hygienic processing and management are ensured at the spinning mill. All processes up to the yarn production meet organic standards. The feature of yarn is not only feeling preasant to the touch, but also Eco-friendly.
